Description

The Walkman has a thin body and a wealth of functions, making it ideal for learning English.

Released in 1991 as an. Also called “Adult Walkman”, with an revolutonary shape, style and set of functions. Mainly designed for home auditions, language learning, dictation, however boosts the latest technology available at the time from Sony, such as amorphous head, ExDBB circuit, Dolby B, and high frequency response interval (for a Walkman) -> 30 – 18k Hz – making it suitable for Hi-Fi auditions also. LCD remote control with full function operation, battery indicator, tape counter, sound mode change, first of it’s kind to be EL backlit with dedicated button. Dolby B noise reduction. 2,5 hours continuous playback with one 600 mAh rechargeable battery. 17,5 hours continuous playback with one 600 mAh rechargeable battery and two alkaline battery. LCD display with clock function, tape counter, low battery indicator. 154.2 × 19.5 × 95.4mm. Automatic tape type selection. A – B repeat function.

Additional notes
The sidecar accepts 2 AA cells, provides however only 1.5V to the unit (parallel instead of in series). It works with just 1 cell. Jack DC in sidecar.
