Description
Split wire control +HOLD switch
On the basis of the EX80 added split wire control function, equipped with intelligent volume adjustment AVLS function. With the novel HOLD lock on and off, the HOLD lock became the mainstream configuration of subsequent machines.
The remote control part is equipped with a LCD, and it is equipped with a WALKMAN logo performance function that informs the tape operating status and a clock / year / month / day display function that can be used instead of a clock.
In addition, a newly developed ultra-small micro plug is used for the remote control part so that the headphones can be replaced. The plug / jack part is gold-plated.
Equipped with a hold shutter to prevent erroneous operation.
In this method, the main operation buttons are arranged on the surface of the cassette lid, and a new hold shutter that slides up and down is equipped. When the shutter is closed, it automatically enters the HOLD state to prevent erroneous operation and battery consumption.
The sound leakage reduction headphone is adopted, and the sound leakage from the gap between an earphone and an ear is reduced by adopting a new shape teardrop shape that matches the shape of the ear. Furthermore, the rent cap reduces unnecessary sound leakage by making the opening where sound comes out only in the ear hole.
The twin derbo system is adopted as a headphone.
The EX amorphous head is adopted as a head part. In addition to using amorphous as the material for this head, the EX mechanism by a special tape guide that keeps the angle between the head and the tape constant is adopted.
The song search AMS (Automatic Music Sensor) that can cue one song before and after is installed, and cueing is possible just by pressing the FF / REW button during Play. This function can be operated from the remote control or the main unit.
The sound sway guard mechanism (anti-rolling mechanism) is a mechanism designed by analyzing the dynamic characteristics against vibration from the aspects such as the moment of inertia of the flywheel and the stability of the motor. It is maintained and the sound fluctuation is reduced.
The newly developed comfortable volume switch (AVLS) is carried as a limiter function, the state of a music signal during playback is constantly monitored, and the volume output from headphones is controlled so as not to exceed the point of sound leakage.
The EX DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) circuit is carried and the bass of 50Hz can be emphasized up to about 16 times. DBB automatically adjusts the emphasis method according to the position of the volume knob at that time. Furthermore, EX DBB prevents the delicacy of weak sound from being lost by changing the amplification amount linearly according to the change in the volume of the original sound.
